From 2021 to 2025, The Pollination Project has proudly supported 117 grassroots initiatives advancing human rights and dignity around the world. These grants represent more than funding; they are a vote of confidence in community leaders who are courageously defending freedoms, amplifying marginalized voices, and ensuring that every person is treated with respect and fairness.
In 2025 alone, 19 projects received seed grants to ignite their work. Each one reflects the resilience and determination of individuals who refuse to accept injustice as the norm.
A Movement Rooted in Grassroots Action
Human rights and dignity are not abstract concepts. They live in the daily realities of people fighting for justice:
-
Defenders of free expression creating safe platforms where silenced voices can be heard.
-
Community advocates working to end discrimination based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or disability.
-
Peacebuilders and mediators addressing conflict through dialogue and reconciliation.
-
Educators and organizers teaching communities about their rights and empowering them to stand up when those rights are threatened.
Through these grants, TPP has stood alongside activists and visionaries at the earliest, most fragile stages of their work—when belief and courage are their only resources.
Impact Beyond the Numbers
While 117 projects is a significant achievement, the deeper story lies in what these efforts have made possible.
-
They have safeguarded vulnerable groups from violence and exploitation.
-
They have opened pathways for women, children, and minority communities to access education and fair treatment.
-
They have elevated local leaders whose work might otherwise remain unseen or unsupported.
The seed funding often acts as a catalyst, helping projects attract further resources, build partnerships, and grow into long-term movements for justice.
As global challenges to human rights intensify, the need for grassroots action becomes even more urgent. The Pollination Project remains committed to uplifting those who stand on the frontlines of dignity and justice. Every grant is a declaration: your vision matters, your courage is seen, and your fight for dignity is shared.
From 2021 to 2025, 117 projects have already lit sparks of change. In 2025, 19 more joined the movement. The ripple effects are still unfolding, and will continue to do so for years to come.
