Want to help with minimal commitment?
The three things that you can do to get to know us and our grantees, while simultaneously supporting their (and our) work:
1) Become an Inspiration Detective. Go to our pinterest board to find a wide variety of inspirational pins about compassion and generosity that we’ve curated and love to share. Ask to follow it and we’ll give you permission to add inspirational pins to the board. We use these pins for content for our facebook wall, and much more.
2) Advocate for Grantees. Learn about our grantees and set a goal of finding at least 5 people and projects that really inspire you. Check out their social media accounts and follow, tag, comment, tweet, share, blog about their work. Tell them how much you are inspired and share some inspiration and joy with them! Often our grantees are working as volunteers to start something great in their community- and they need all the encouragement and cheerleading they can get. Your enthusiasm will make their day.
3) Be an Oversharer. Check out our social media accounts, and our other online content here. Share, tag, promote and blog via any medium you like. Are you a linked in expert? Share one of our articles about Philanthropy with one of the groups you participate in. Facebook addict? Post to your wall and target specific friends with encouragement to apply for a grant or participate with us in other ways. Retweet our tweets. You get the idea.

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
