The TPP grant
made a difference in our work because we did not feel alone any more. Someone recognized the same need as we did. We felt heard and acknowledged. This gave us the confidence that there are more people out there that see the need for this work, and it gave us a much needed boost to go ahead.
I realized many things in this last year. One of them is that you have to be able to bear a lot of pain. In a sense, the deeper you go, the more you see how many things are wrong in this world. But, when I see through the Pollination Project social media posts and videos that there is a global community engaging and making positive change around the world on so many important issues, I feel a huge sense of relief. I encourage grantees and TPP to keep up the good work, keep supporting, and we will do our best to contribute from here.
