The Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon has forced more than 300,000 people to be internally displaced and another 30,000 as refugees. As a result of the crisis, many IDPs are vulnerable however the extent differs with respect to family and social status among others. Through some baseline studies it has been found that single mothers are amongst the most affected after being forcibly displaced. Bearing the burden of providing for their children, and themselves, is very challenging and in some circumstances impossible without assistance.

With the support from The Pollination Project, The Mentor’s Foundation is able to empower 15 vulnerable and displaced single mothers in Buea, Cameroon through the production and marketing of vegetables.
