Scope Intervention, Fruit and Tree Project
Planting a tree is very important to conserve the environment, but planting a fruit tree to save a child from malnutrition, provides sustainable income to a struggling family and conserves the environment. Scope Intervention’s Fruit and Tree Project establishes fruit tree farms in schools through Generation Green Clubs, which are formed to promote the interaction of pupils with the environment and create a generation that champions environmental conservation. The fruit tree farms developed will provide the pupils with fruits for consumption while contributing to the livelihood of the local community through sale of the fruits, at the same time improving the state of the environment by increasing tree cover.
