Lawrence Sumulong, The Last of Us

In 1946 the United States military asked 167 Bikinians to leave their homeland in the Marshall Islands. Today, 29 remain who are unable to return home due to nuclear testing that left the area dangerously radioactive. Lawrence Sumulong is dedicated to finding the 29 Bikinians to photograph and document their voices through his project, The Last of Us.
