Most Jains in India reside in Rajasthan, and are are seen as non-violent, peaceful people. Karuna Sandesh Yatra, designed by Ashutosh Nirvadyaachari, is a project that envisions a 1,200-kilometer feet trek to spread the message of compassion and veganism. Emphasis of the mission is to get the support of Jain religious-heads and to inspire their followers to abstain from all animal products & services including dairy. With conscious outreach efforts and leaflet campaigns, Ashutosh works towards a positive change for the farmed animals of the world.
