The Organic Scheme Project

The Organic Scheme Project is located in Kenya, and tackles issues like poverty and the high rate of HIV/AIDS infections that have resulted in large numbers of orphans and vulnerable children. A lot of these children cannot afford a satisfactory education because their families cannot afford to purchase books, pay tuition fees, or transport them to school. Steven Rajogi’s Organic Scheme Group project uses organic farming as a way to help grow and sell horticultural crops to support the education of sixteen orphans and vulnerable children from the Kanyawegi Village.

The Pollination Project grant will help Steven and his team support poor families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS by working together with guardians and caregivers to grow organic vegetables.
