Jeffrey Baykal-Rollins, The Body of the People

The socio-political climate in the United States is at a high, with major movements flooding the media and an impending presidential election in the forecast. In Boston, Connecticut, Jeffrey Baykal-Rollins has created The Body of the People project, a site-specific art installation and performance that will interweave language and visual imagery into a poetic discourse. The poetic text will be delivered through opera, tying together drawings of movement manifestos to slogans yearning for social change.
