Igor Korsunsky, School Museum Ukraine

A group of youth stand together for a picture indoors.

When history lessons are forgotten, mistakes are often repeated. So, let’s all remember the stories of the Holocaust.
In the fall of 1941, Nazis killed thousands of Jews near town of Lubny, Ukraine. Today, almost seventy five years later, RememberUs.org is helping to establish the School Museum, located a short distance from the killing site. This museum will educate students about the history of the region and the Shoah tragedy. There is a great need to teach history, tolerance and teach humanity. This project is intended to help the local community gain a deeper understanding into the impact of prejudice, inequality and injustice.
