For a long time,my friends and I only talked about the the deforestation in our region but never did anything about it. This grant has thus enabled us to take responsibility by practically starting a project on conserving the environment through tree planting.
The pollination grant provided the startup capital that enabled us to start this project. We had been looking for funding without success and where almost giving up when the pollination grant came though.
During Volunteers` Week, we at The Pollination Project express our deepest gratitude to the extraordinary individuals who form the backbone of our organization.
Our dedicated volunteers, from the grant advisors who meticulously select the projects we fund, to the grantees whose community service initiatives are brought to life by volunteer effort, embody a spirit of service that is truly inspiring.
