You can imagine my shock when I discovered I got the grant. Tears rolled down my face and I felt such joy! I wanted to become nonprofit, but needed the money to apply… Every time I go to The Kids’ Reading Room I am reminded that some children don’t have books to read at home. I get to be a part of instilling the love of reading in kids. I get to provide books and positive experiences for them. I cannot begin to describe the joy I feel knowing that a child’s life could change down the road all because he/she is now reading and taking books home to read. I would never be in this position if it wasn’t for the grant money. I know more doors will open up with our nonprofit status. Thank you so much Pollination Project for believing in me!
