Knowing, through the trust that the Pollination Project has placed in us, that we were, indeed a worthy organization, put a lot of wind in our sails at a time when we might have become becalmed. The obvious financial success of the two fundraising projects that we were able to underwrite with your grant was fantastic affirmation of our mission of “nurturing the seed of generosity in every human heart.”
We parlayed your $1,000 into $4,300! With that money during the year following the grant we were able to make our own “pollination” grants to creative and worthy pilot projects in our county: $1,500 to the Junior Volunteers; $1,000 to the South Street Center; $1,500 to Project Bicycle Trip.
