When we received news that The Comfort Dog Project was selected to receive support from The Pollination Project, that was taken as a big honor and made people here take notice. The support also made it so thate I did not have to be so focused on how we would pay for the project’s needs and could just focus on making the project a success. The feeling here in Northern Uganda is sometimes that the people here have been forgotten by the rest of the world. But the fact that The Pollination Project joined as our partners, without discrimination, lets me know that there are people in the world who take our problems on as their own and this causes me to feel that there is a strong fellowship with my fellow human beings in the world.
