Opening Doors Through Education

At The Pollination Project, we believe education is the seed of opportunity, dignity, and transformation. Yet for too many learners around the world, access to quality education remains out of reach.

That is why, from 2021 to 2025, we supported 214 grassroots education and school-based projects across the globe. In 2025 alone, 33 projects received seed funding to bring new possibilities to students and communities who might otherwise be left behind.

Our “Education & Access to Opportunity” grants are rooted in one simple belief: when people, especially young people, gain the chance to learn, they gain the power to lead change.

These projects are not just about books or classrooms. They:

• Expand access for those most often excluded, including rural youth, girls, and marginalized communities.

• Introduce creative, hands-on, and culturally relevant ways of learning.

• Build pathways for future leadership, employment, and social change.

• Plant seeds that can grow into sustainable, community-led movements.

What makes our grants unique is not only the funding itself, but the way we give:

• Early Support – We take chances on new ideas, often before anyone else does.

• Flexibility – Grantees use funds where they’re needed most, whether for supplies, outreach, or pilot programs.

• Storytelling & Visibility – Projects gain a platform, credibility, and connection to a global network of changemakers.

• Catalyst for Growth – Many grantees go on to attract larger funding and partnerships after their first TPP grant.

As we celebrate these achievements, we also recognize the road ahead. Barriers to education remain steep, and the need for grassroots innovation has never been greater. Our commitment to supporting bold, community-led education projects will continue to grow, because when learners thrive, entire communities blossom.
