Through The Pollination Project we were able to advocate for 25 African asylum seekers in France, Spain and Belgium to be granted refugee status. We are also very proud to document the first study on the situation of African asylum seekers, immigrants and refugees in these areas with key recommendations to government and other stakeholders to advocate for policy and structural changes in Spain.
Pride Equality International also successfully completed trainings for participants whom were able to write their own stories for the first time. The establishment of the African asylum seekers and refugees advocacy taskforce in Barcelona, Spain was a huge success.
