TGB believes that reinforcement and enhancement of the current educational system will allow the tribe to retain their most promising youth in the Sierra, and thus avoid external acculturation and the loss of their language and traditions. TGB educational project helps prepare students to become successful professionals with updated knowledge and skills, enabling them to remain at home and better serve their tribal community.
Hope and Change for Haiti has worked t with the population of that municipality to bring hope, create sustainable change, restore dignity, and support local economy.
I want people to know that creating awareness around these issues among at risk youth and parents can help bring change in the community. Kisumu Talent Club uses music, dance, sports, and poetry to create awareness about these topics and offers counselling as a way of developing character of young girls and boys to keep them away from destructive activities.
There is a need for more tools designed specifically for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Thus, we founded See Beneath, Inc. and embarked on our mission to engage and educate children with ASD by creating and providing innovative tools that foster positive change and help children reach developmental milestones.
Our project and organization seeks to counter loaded rhetoric, which creates a toxic atmosphere for many immigrants and leads to heightening anxiety. By providing culturally sensitive legal advise in a language they understand, we assist immigrants to assert their rights as they strive to become good and neighbors.
We provide accessible gardening space, free organic community produce, and education opportunities. In 2019, we will engage more than 1000 people in 224 community work days, and over 100 hours of diverse educational programs.
Through increasing access to free study facilities, textbooks, coaching, and tutors for poor children and young people especially girls, and skills training for poor youth and women, this project aims to give a concrete possibility of social and economic empowerment to the adults of tomorrow and to all their families.
I yearn for Indonesian people to recognize how blessed they are to live in an area rich of biodiversity and I want them to value that. I yearn for them to start to appreciate and value the diversity they have in their land.

My project empowers small holder farmers, particularly vulnerable poor women and unemployed youth in rural communities, through capacity building and startup support in sustainable organic farming and agro forestry technologies to boost soil fertility, improve household nutrition, and increase family income levels.
The main activity of the project is to raise awareness on women’s rights to own, use and control land. To accomplish the task, we trained 25 young women as Paralegals who were empowered with knowledge and skills on land legal issues.
Up until our coming together as Kitumba Women Development Association, we had a problem of being unemployed. Rather than sit and do nothing, we came together to identify opportunities to become financially independent and eradicate poverty though mushroom farming.
This project is designed to create an atmosphere where youth-at-risk, who struggle with relationships and authority, are able to accept a horse’s honest, non-judgmental presence and eventually learn to be honest with themselves as well as others.
