Winam Masons Project – Winam Masons Project

Date grant awarded: July 11, 2018

William Waga started Winam Masons Project in 2016, located in Kisumu, Kenya, with the aim of equipping young masons with the needed skills in masonry. The project has supported 20 young men who are now qualified masons. They conduct workshops that create awareness on government regulations and certifications, measurements and compliance, building concepts, and structural systems aimed at transforming the lives of youths.

The project empowers them with the technical skills needed in masonry. With Pollination Project funds, William will offer trainings to the masons through apprenticeships.
