Grantee Name: Animal Justice Project
Project Name: The ‘Campus Without Cruelty’ campaign
Grant Location: London, UK

Funding Partner: Open Philanthropy Project

Project Description: Animal Justice Project is an international, non-profit organisation dedicated to the ending of animal experimentation. They also run the UK’s leading campaign aimed at ending the use of animals in universities by students and staff. By bringing to light the reality of vivisection, through advocacy, education, outreach and research, they are exposing the injustices that take place in society with regards to animals. Their flagship Campus without Cruelty campaign aims to raise awareness among students at universities, and other educational institutions, on the issue of animal experimentation; encourage students not to use live animals as part of their education (and provide guidance on how to do this), and carry out positive outreach on university campuses to spread the message of compassion and animal rights.
