Tanyi Mbianyor Thomas, Waste Management in Bessongabang Community

Group of adults stand outside an empty building

Despite fact that the majority of the surface of the earth is covered with water, many people lack clean water for drinking and daily activities.

Tanyi Mbianyor Thomas has established Waste Management in Bessongabang Community in Manyu, Cameroon to help generate interest and compassion towards environmental protection and sewage management in the local communities. The project will work to remove waste material in and around four surrounding springs, streams and riverbanks, all identified areas for water collection amongst the community.
