“EMERGE – Eradication of Early Marriage & Restoring Girls’ Entity” is an initiative of SPANDHANA, which focuses on identifying survivors of child/early marriage & forced marriages who are deserted, divorced and separated and empower them by organizing and enabling them to continue education and build better career. The project also focuses on organising adolescent girls and empowering them on SRHR and decisions on their body and life. It is implemented among the Muslim minority community in India, who are mainly Beedi rollers settled in urban slums.

With the support of Pollination Project SPANDHANA is aiming to build a resource center for the project that will provide or after school support, career guidance and enable intellectual transformation on gender and social issues. The support will also enable us to possess a permanent website domain.
