Rebecca Copper, Axiom: Judgment Call of the Arts

A group of adult sit in a circle and appear to be engaging in a discussion.

It is apparent in our current political climate that deep consideration over the tactics used by our system of governance to rehabilitate and protect our society is desperately needed. In Columbus, Ohio, USA, Rebecca Copper has created Axiom: Judgment Call of the Arts, an art engagement between the incarcerated and artists. Over the course of 7 to 9 months, pairs will converse and collaborate on art projects that will then be displayed at an art exhibit accompanied by a virtual artist talk. The project was facilitated with help of Healing Broken Circles, inc. and the artists who have volunteered their time. The participating Columbus artists are as follows: Rachael Anderson, Ryn Osbourne, Walter Herrmann, Alicia Jean Vanderelli, Cameron Granger, CJ Brazelton, Amanda Furnari, Josh Burke, Maritt Vaessin, Jamie Hartman, and Rebecca Copper.
