Paul, Irina, Patricia, Edyeni – Provide clean water to 120 students in Cusco, Peru.

Date grant awarded: October 19, 2018

Paul van de Moosdijk, Irina, Patricia, and Edyeni are the founders of the project, Provide Clean Water to 120 Students in Cusco, Peru. It is their first project of many, as they are committed to creating easy access to safe drinking water for many students in Peru. Their social business model actively addresses the key barriers to installing water purification systems at schools. These obstacles are: financing, low product awareness, insufficient maintenance, and weak distribution.

Through their solution, they will improve chronic malnutrition resulting from poor water quality that can transmit harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites. With the Pollination Project grant, the organizers will purchase water filters and water bio-bottles.
