Noble Missions for Change Initiative – Give A Teach

Nigeria was scored a 0.714 and rated 103 out of 113 in the Education for All Development Index (EDI) of 2015 by UNESCO because of the falling quality of the system. One of the factors responsible for this falling standard is the lack of qualified and committed teachers. According to the government, at least 250,000 teachers are needed in Nigeria to close the teachers’ gap in basic education. This is why we founded Give A Teach, a project designed to use digital tools to connect skilled and experienced working professionals in city centres to low resource schools as volunteer teachers.

Give A Teach is a project of Noble Missions for Change Initiative, an organization founded by Charles Omofomwan to leverage technology in removing barriers and improving access to quality education in Africa, starting with Nigeria.
