Middletown Concert Chorale, The Middletown Concert Chorale

A group of fifty middle to upper aged adults stand on stairs in what appears to be a concert hall.

Middletown, New York, is an economically depressed area and the Middletown Concert Chorale (MCC) was once thought of as the “forgotten stepchild” among music groups in the region. Two years ago, a dedicated and dynamic
director took over and helped transform the chorus to both create beautiful music and enrich the lives of the socially and economically diverse community it serves. MCC continues to broaden its influence in the community though a variety of ethnic and historical music and through the ongoing development of its members and audience.
