Michael Maua, School Library for Information Literacy

According to a 2015 Uwezo report regarding Literacy and Numeracy, the best and worst performing districts in East Africa come from within Kenya. To best close in on this, Michael Maua has created School Library for Information Literacy in Kilifi, which will serve as a catalyst for trained teacher-librarians to provide literary to public primary schools. With a wide range of literary selection from book drives and donations alongside shelves and databases for organizational purposes, the importance of literacy will be highly promoted and publicized.
