Louino Robillard, Pak nan Ginen (2015 Impact Grant)

A group of three individuals squat over some rocks while planting a tree.

In Haiti, which has suffered some of the worst deforestation on the planet, Louino Robillard purchased a small parcel of land and and has planted over 200 trees to turn it into a forested living museum and park. While the park has become a hub for the local community, where children can play and learn about the need for environmental preservation, keeping these young trees watered can be difficult in Haiti. This impact grant will support the drilling of a well to keep this pocket of greenery alive for the community.
