Kyla Farquhar, Estella Lofton’s Garden Kenneth Holiday

Estella Lofton’s Garden was created by Stone Temple to enhance the lives of Englewood’s families, youth and children. Englewood is a community located on the south side of Chicago with over two thirds of the population living below the poverty level. Worn down by violence, lack of resources and a loss of hope, this community garden will not only serve as a source of beautification, but will also provide individuals and families with fresh produce. Coordinated under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Holiday, this impact grant will allow Stone Temple to meet a basic need of the community and help put a stop to hunger one family at a time.
