Project Description: Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary is the only farm animal sanctuary in Colombia, South America. This project aims to give a safe haven for animals raised for food. For the past 10 years, this project has helped animals through rescue and emergency medical care, as well as, educating people about animal rights and helping them to reconnect with animals by showing the equality that exists between all (human and non-human animals).

We focus on rescued animals raised for food but we also have strong educational programs to help all animals, Our new project, Hydroponic Crops for Farm Animal Sanctuaries will initiate a new way to feed animals with the most nutritious food while also lowering costs, and our hope is to inspire other animal sanctuaries to do the same. By doing this, we will be able to focus more on educational programs to help those animals that we can’t bring to our sanctuaries.
