Jamal Musah, Green Project

Date grant awarded: 3/20/2017

The Green Project has been initiated by the Ghana Youth Climate Coalition (an NGO to mobilize, educate, inspire and empower youth to become agents of change and also advocate on climate change and environmental related issues of concern) under the leadership of Jamal Musah. The goal is to form green clubs in two schools in the Obuasi municipality and also to plant over two hundred trees in the Obuasi Township.

The project aims to create a strong cohesive movement of youth to stand up for environmental sustainability. It will inspire the youth to become agents of change and also educate them on climate change and how they can be part of the solution.
