East Pokot District, Baringo County, Kenya has one of the lowest literacy rates in the world at 4% with 60% of the children out of school on any given day. Hifadhi Africa Organization work towards providing education and literacy through their project, E-Learning Systems for Nomadic Schools in Kenya. The project will equip a resource center will solar power and a free e-learning library with access to 6,000 articles, 26 million words and 50,000 images that
include over 3,000 textbooks and over 2,000 videos.
