Gabonese rural communities are still facing difficulties accessing electricity. On one side, the most affected are schools children who cannot study at night due to the absence of electricity. This reality has a negative impact on student school results because of their limited time to study. On the other side, women are forced to work all day because they cannot fulfill their home activities at night due to the lack of electricity. Because of this reality, E-Africa GoGreen LTD is implementing a solar lanterns and solar reading lights distribution project in NTOUM, in the province of Estuaire (Gabon), which is targeting school children and mothers.
