Dania Valle; Kenia Mata – Reciclatecc

Date grant awarded: July 1, 2018

Reciclatecc, founded by Dania Valle and Kenia Mata, is an electronics waste (e-waste) recycling business based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. They want to raise awareness about the issue of waste and create solutions by offering free electronic waste recycling services. Additionally, they want to create education campaigns for schools and universities. The general aim of the e-waste treatment facility is to ensure that high volumes of e-waste get recycled and prevent contamination. They will be working with NGO’s, schools and companies. Recycling helps to create jobs, social corporate responsibility, and preserves natural resources.
To make all this happen, they are working on their social media, advertising, and corporate alliances.
