Circuit Pointe – Improving food security and Nutrition in Obibi Nguru Community

Date grant awarded: 01/25/2018

Circuit Pointe’s Improving Food Security and Nutrition project was created in response to food insecurity and malnutrition in Obibi Nguru Community, a hard-to-reach community in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Nigeria. The project will contribute to reduce a significant number of malnourished children and women especially pregnant mothers. Through partnership with Obibi Nguru Women Association 20 members who are mothers with children under five will set up their own kitchen gardens to grow nutrient-rich foods to improve health and boost food security in their homes.
