Cesar Madrid, Sembrando Cusco

Date grant awarded: May 20, 2016

For the past six years, Cesar Madrid has been vegging out the little town of Urubamba in Cusco, Peru with the goal to inspire compassionate choices by teaching about plant-based meals. He has recently received a flow fund for his project, Sembrando Cusco, a grassroots community wellness program that organizes plant-based meal and fitness classes for the community. Funds will allow for commercial equipment to be purchased, easing preparation and expanding to include baking classes.
