CandyJean Fowler, CherAmi FarmHer Program

CeeJae Fowler, Army Veteran and Founder of CherAmi Farms, realized the need for mentorship programs in Russell County, Alabama almost 6 years ago.

CherAmi Farms’ mission is to uplift and encourage at-risk girls in the community through unconventional methods such as Equine Therapy, Agricultural Education, and Community Service. The Youth Volunteer Program has donated over 2,300 hours to various other organizations, charities, and events since March of 2015. Through its STEM-based curriculum, the FarmHer Agricultural program aims to provide prevention strategies for young people by helping them gain valuable life skills, self-confidence, group interaction capabilities, entrepreneurial and leadership skills through environmentally sustainable practices.
