Camille Licate – Bree & Me Project

Date grant awarded: 02/27/2018

The Bree and Me Project teaches and inspires intermediate and high school students to take positive action for farm animals and animals used for testing, through interactive humane education programs, promoting compassionate lifestyle choices and veganism, and classroom-community action assignments. With rescue rooster Bree, as the project’s ambassador, students, in Ashtabula, Ohio, are empowered to share their knowledge and be leaders within their community, by creating online and live presentations, informative videos, flyers and plant-based food campaigns, all of which build and support a stronger awareness for animal welfare, veganism and a kinder, joyful world. The Bree & Me Project will expand its reach to high school students that are part of the LEADERship Ashtabula County program.
