Caitlin Kelty-Huber, Let ‘Em Grow! Encouraging Native and Pollinator-Friendly Plants in Backyard Gardens

Caitlin Kelty-Huber and Jeff C. Ruby are a pair of vegan-ecofeminists devoted to work that lessens the suffering of humans, other animals, and the environment. They are part of the burgeoning Microsanctuary Movement, providing care to 11 other-than-human individuals in southern Maine. The focus of their current project is to encourage the use of native, and pollinator-friendly plants in backyard gardens, borders, and planters. Let ‘Em Grow! Encouraging Native and Pollinator-Friendly Plants in Backyard Gardens will demonstrate one important step that can be taken to minimize the harmful effects of humans on ecosystems, and the other-than-human individuals who live within them.
