Brigada de Salud Comunitaria 43 – Brigada de Salud Comunitaria 43 Manual de Primeros Auxilios
The Brigada de Salud Comunitaria 43 is a grassroots community health organizing effort based in the municipality of Tixtla in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. The group organizes community-based health brigades and trains local community members to diagnose, treat and prevent the most common illnesses that are found in their region. Two years ago, they started running advanced first aid training courses for community members and organizers, and recently developed the First Aid Manual for Community Paramedics.
The Pollination Project grant funds will make it possible for the group to completely cover the printing costs for 1000 copies of the Manual in order to distribute in different areas of the state of Guerrero where the courses have been carried out.
