Anagho Emmanuel Anyangwe, Strengthening The Capacity Of Female University Drop Outs In Yaounde Cameroon

Anagho Emmanuel Anyangwe

Strengthening The Capacity Of Female University Drop Outs In Yaounde Cameroon is an initiative of Anagho Emmanuel (organizer of Netsquared Yaoundé) in collaboration with Abel Misodi (CEO of hope foundation), and other volunteers. The project goal is to help women who have been forced to drop out of Cameroonian universities to take advantage of opportunities in ICT and as such participate in socio-economic development and nation building.

The training will empower these women, and help to build the next generation of female web developers who are ready to take advantage of the high demand for a web presence (websites) in Cameroon and abroad, thereby increasing the participation and access of women to develop web platforms (web sites), e-marketing and virtual community mechanisms for companies and organizations through the use of Web 2.0 tools. The goal of the project is to provide female university drop outs with the necessary ICT skills for a safe and decent work, geared at their economic independence and emancipation.
