Altab, Richa, Inderpal – Tour of Compassion
The Vegan India Movement (VIM) started with a suggestion from an animal rights activist to do monthly coordinated activism in five cities. This idea was met with so much enthusiasm that over thirty cities participated in the first month. Vanshika was one such enthusiastic activist who started activism in her city from January 2018 and is now on the core team of VIM. She realized that people living in the North Eastern states are not in sync with the rest of India as far as veganism is concerned.
She decided to take it upon herself to grow the Vegan India Movement by visiting three cities in the Seven Sister states of the North Eastern Region to help build a team of compassionate people who can help spread the word to stop the exploitation of animals raised for food in those states.
