LDCN Executive Director Zach Lager will present TPP grantee LDCN’s progress over the last 18 months as well as share our future trajectory. Some of the main topics to be covered will be:
- Expanding and enhancing our Access to Water Project by connecting a solar panel water pump system to our manual drilled borehole in order to irrigate a 500 sqm. family sized demonstration garden;
- Developing meaningful short-term cross cultural experiences for groups and volunteers who can contribute and bring value added help to both our local projects and LDCN organizational development;
- Hiring a local project manager to assume the day to day operations of LDCN’s work in Nguineia;
Developing new and important partnerships and collaborations across Africa and the world which in turn have opened up new opportunities and funding avenues for LDCN.
After the presentation, we will have a Q&A session and round-table discussion about LDCN, our on the ground work in Mozambique, and our longer term organizational goals.
