In 2020, during the darkest days of the pandemic, four Oakland teenagers turned a $1,000 grant from The Pollination Project into a literacy revolution. Their program achieved extraordinary results: almost 300 kindergarten students who started the year at 0% literacy reached nearly 75%, compared to a national average of 30% .

That spark has grown into an amazing organization called Meaningful Teens. Today, over 3,000 volunteers across 28 programs are transforming young lives globally, having already helped over 2,400 students.
