Life-Track Cameroon Team – Reusable Sanitary Pad For Displaced Women And Girls
This non-profit organization has a mission to improve the lives of vulnerable women and children. It encourages and engage vulnerable groups especially women and girls to implement viable, effective and innovative solutions to pressing global issues affecting them. It seeks to build the capacity of 100 internally displaced women and girls on menstrual hygiene management and also train them on the production of reusable sanitary pads.
This work is very important because menstrual hygiene management has been neglected in humanitarian settings and it is an integral part of women’s lives. Given the challenges these IDP women and adolescent girls are facing because of the Anglophone crisis, there is a need to safeguard their dignity, bodily integrity, and overall opportunities.
