“Why is it important to reflect on your experiences in life? A group of students from Rutgers University have been addressing this question in a multidisciplinary scrapbook project being lead by a documentary artist and journalist named Jonna McKone. McKone traveled with these New Jersey college students to The Sanctuary for Independent Media to meet up and study zine-making with digital folk artist Brenda Ann Kenneally, Guggenheim fellow and creator of the Troy People’s History Museum.”
