Rosana’s lifelong passion for animals inspired a transformational mid-career change from leadership in the manufacturing sector to full time animal and social justice advocacy work. In order to align her work life with her personal values, Rosana focused her energies on the non-profit world and accepted a senior management position at The Jane Goodall Institute Hong Kong (2014-2016) where she worked closely with Dr. Jane Goodall to execute the mission of JGI in Asia.
Rosana holds an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business from University of Western Ontario, and an M.Ed. from Valparaiso University in Indiana, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Humane Education from the Institute for Humane Education in Maine. Rosana combines her eastern culture with her western education to drive change on interconnected issues that affect animals, people and the planet in culturally responsive ways.
Rosana has a passion for wildlife and travels to Africa frequently, including volunteering at a chimpanzee sanctuary in Uganda in 2017.
