“Youngsters gathered on the front lawn of the Illumination Foundation’s Children’s Resource Center on North Ross Street on Friday, eagerly awaiting the unveiling of a tall, rectangular object. As adults pulled off a sheet and revealed a case filled with books, mounted on a wooden stick, the children’s eyes grew wide. “Spider-Man!” four-year-old Ian Cruz said gleefully as he reached up for a book about the superhero. Cruz, who lives across the street, was among the first to take advantage of the newest Little Free Library book exchange – and the 50,000th in the world.”
