According to ARC’s website, Americans consume 1 million cows, chickens and pigs per hour. The group also believes that humans could benefit healthwise, while dramatically improving the environment, if we would adopt a vegetarian or vegan diet.”
“Tracey Glover, a local yoga instructor whose business, Pure Vegan, provides home delivery of vegan meals that she cooks, is one of the founders of ARC. On Friday, Jan. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m., ARC will hold its first fundraising event, and Glover is preparing the dinner: kombucha, curried carrot-ginger soup, roasted red cabbage, organic greens, lima quinoa salad with creamy dill dressing, Indian dahl with rice, and orange hazelnut thumbprint cookies and truffles for dessert.”
