Angela Graf, Voices of Youth Children’s Choir

Angela GrafAngela Graf is starting Voices of Youth Children’s Choir, a children’s inner-city choir in New Albany, Indiana. The Choir will be housed at Open Door Youth Services, a local agency that provides support to underserved children and youth. The Choir is open to any young person ages six to eighteen and is free to join.

Having taught music for many years, Angela knows the positive effects of music and singing can have on youth. Angela wants to be able to offer a positive and free extra-curricular activity for young people who can’t financially afford to participate in gymnastics or other after school sports.

Angela says, “Music inspires people and offers opportunities they may not normally have.” With her outreach efforts focusing on schools, community centers and the homeschooling community, she is creating a greater community of care and connection through music.

The funds from The Pollination Project will be used for startup costs. To learn more about Open Door Youth Services, check out their website and follow them on Facebook.
